Blogging Slump

Well, I did get a winner and the box is in the mail as of this morning thanks to my hubby. 
I really haven't been doing much other than Dr. visits.  Last Thursday was a 6 a.m. Colonoscopy. glad that is over. Yesterday was blood tests and chest x ray.  Tomorrow is a dentist visit due to a broken tooth and Thursday is a Dr. visit for test results.  To much going on this week haven't even gotten out to the lodge to see all my hooking friends, they are there for the week.  I know they must have a fire going in the huge fireplace, because we have had rain for days on end now. 
I made a loaf of banana walnut bread today, put it in the freezer.  May husband can give it away faster than I can make it.  I may have to threaten him, I'm trying to get ahead for Christmas. 
I did start a little wall hanging today, here is a picture. It's small 18x21 but I just loved the pattern. 
I ordered our Thanksgiving Dinner from our local grocery store yesterday.  Can't see doing all that cooking for three of us. 
Guess I will talk to you later after my tooth drilling tomorrow.

  1. I'm glad for your winner...but I really did like that mat!! I have a colonoscopy scheduled for this year...yuck! You sound too busy with doctor visits. I hope things slow down and your can enjoy the next month or so doing fun things for you!

  2. Katie I can relate. Last week it was CH and his Dr. appts, this week it's mine. Cute little postage stamp! Hmmm, ordering Thanksgiving from the grocery store. I think that sounds like a great idea.

  3. How smart of you to order Thanksgiving dinner from your grocer. I've been running to the doctor's office too lately. Had a pap test today, other tests, some ultra sounds booked at the hospital and I just got notice today from my a health insurance that they can't cover me for cancer, diabetes and Osteoporosis and my group plan runs out at the end of November when I turn 65.

  4. Must be the season for Dr. and Dentists and tests!!
    Same here, all last week it was Dr. visits and Mammogram and week before that the physical with the paps. Know how you feel Katie....... at least it sounds like we all are taking care of ourselves and that's a good thing!

    Not a fun week, but hopefully you will have no need for the doctors or dentist for quite some time.

  8. I have looked at that same pattern I don't know how many times but decided I could forget about it if I just stopped looking. Now there it is again beckoning me.
    I had one of those dreaded colonoscopy tests last week too.
